After a controversial stoppage last December, the UFC rebooked the welterweight clash and this time the decision was as clear as day.
Abdul Razak Alhassan (9-1) ensured that no controversy would surround this bout as he was able to dispatch Sabah Homasi (11-8) with one of the cleanest uppercuts in recent memory.
The scrap was contested in a ferocious manner with both fighters pushing forward looking for a big finish.
After some early success, Homasi was able to take down Alhassan but referee Dan Mirgaliotta inexplicably decided to stand the fighters up despite Homasi working for a dominant position.
Homasi continued to press forward and ended up on the mat after the Ghanaian landed flush on the chin of Homasi who went out cold quickly.
