In a late switch to Friday night’s marquee event in London, MMA veteran Mirko Cro Cop is out of his scheduled heavyweight bout with Roy “Big Country” Nelson.
Bellator’s marquee event has hit a slight snag after Bellator officials announced this afternoon, that Mirko Cro Cop (36-11-2) has suffered an injury and is now out of his scheduled bout with Roy Nelson (23-15).
It is yet unclear as to what injury Cro Cop sustained and it is yet unclear as to whether or not Nelson is to be re-booked on the card.
In its place, a middleweight title fight is promoted to the main event slot. Rafael Carvahlo (15-1) looks to defend his belt against the ever scrappy Gegard Mousasi (43-6-2).
Bellator 200 is due to take place from the SSE Arena in London this Friday night with live coverage for UK and Irish viewers beginning at 9pm (BST) on 5Spike.
It marks the first live event Bellator have shown in any European market.
