Cage Legacy 9 – First Fights Announced

Cage Legacy 9 takes place on August 19th with a big night of MMA in store.

Tallaght has been targeted as Cage Legacy’s next stop as St. Mark’s GAA Club is set to host an explosive night of mixed martial arts.

The promotion is quickly becoming a hot bed for Irish talent and their 9th event shows no signs of letting up with a couple of exciting match ups announced.

Decky “The Diamond” Dalton (7-3) returns to action after nearly a year away from the cage. Having impressed at BAMMA 30 against Mick Brennan, the Belfast native looks to put on a show in front of an expectant crowd.

In his path is Frenchman, Julien Bouteix (2-4) who is coming off a loss to Declan McAleenan in Cage Legacy’s last event in Drogheda.

Bouteix is on somewhat of a slippery slope and he knows that a win against Dalton could earn him some much needed motivation and could potentially send a message to the local scene that despite a lopsided record, Bouteix could be a name to be reckoned with.

Also on the card is an intriguing rematch for the interim lightweight title that pits Dylan Logan (2-3) and Marcin Zembala (2-2) against one another for the second time this year.

Zembala was able to catch Logan last time out with a late submission victory in an otherwise closely contested fight.

Logan will certainly be determined to avenge a loss that halted a two fight winning streak and now looks to earn gold when he takes to the cage in Tallaght.
