Having left the UFC in 2016, Nikita Krylov returns to action at UFC Russia against Jan Blachowicz in a light heavyweight contest.
It was a puzzling decision as to why Krylov was allowed to leave the UFC back in December 2016. The Ukrainian fighter went (6-3) in his first stint in the UFC and is currently riding a 4 fight win streak having finished all four fights.
Nikita Krylov (24-5) is a finishing machine and he is welcomed back to the Octagon against tricky Pole Jan Blachowicz (22-7).
This is a high stakes fight with Blachowicz putting together a hat trick of victories and has his sights firmly set on a UFC title shot.
UFC Russia is the promotion’s first visit to the country and the event takes place on September 15th in Russia.
