Having opted not to attain the rights for the UFC, BT Sports has relinquished rights with Eleven Sports set to take over from December of this year.
It has been a week of speculation amongst fight fans in the Irish and UK market with many left unhappy when BT Sports decided not to pursue with showing exclusive UFC events.
As of today, Eleven Sports have outlined pricing structures for their new service which will show La LIga, Serie A and the UFC.
The plan consists of a monthly subscription fee which can be cancelled at any time for €6.99 (£5.99 UK).
This will also include a free 7 day trial for customers to experience the channel’s offerings.
Annual passes are also available.
Early bird customers until August 31st will pay €59.99 (£49.99 UK) essentially getting two months free.
After the cut off date, customers can expect to pay €69.99 (£59.99 UK) for an annual subscription.
BT Sport currently costs subscribers €245 per year and Eleven Sports have certainly made it a competitive market particularly for those who only bought BT Sport for UFC events.
The service will be available on iOS and Android devices to begin with but reports suggest that a satellite channel will be announced in the coming months.
