The tweet follows on from Friday’s 25th anniversary press conference when Diaz claimed he wasn’t fighting on the upcoming New York card.
It has been nearly two years since Nate Diaz has set foot into the Octagon and when a proposed bout between Diaz and Dustin Poirier was announced, it had fight fans frothing at the mouth.
However, Diaz’s issues with the UFC haven’t appeared to subsided after he stormed out of the press conference once the UFC revealed the upcoming lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
The ever brash Stockton native tweeted the following on Friday night:
Late on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, Diaz was once again tweeting about the UFC.
Dana White confirmed in a post fight media scrum after ‘Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series’ that he has not yet been in contact with Diaz over the tweets.
Fans have been left wondering as to whether or not the bout with Dustin Poirier will indeed go ahead as planned.
