Kevin Lee claims he “dominated” Dillon Danis on the mat – Danis calls for submission contest with Lee

Things are hotting up between Kevin Lee and Dillon Danis with the latter calling out Lee and challenging him to a submission contest.

Kevin Lee had been speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show on Monday and having stated that he wanted to fight Anthony Pettis the “Mo-Town Phenom” also had some choice words for Dillon Danis.

Danis, who is training with Conor McGregor, was singled out by Lee. “I rolled with him”, began Lee. “It was so one sided it wasn’t even funny. I even caught him in an inverted triangle choke”

Dillon Danis (1-0) began his professional MMA career back in April and took to Twitter to respond to the claims made against him.

“Let’s roll… 100K cash… winner takes all. Only way to win is submission”

At the time of writing, Lee has yet to respond to the invitation but if Lee does end up fighting at UFC 229, it’s likely that Danis will be in attendance in some presence which could make for interesting viewing during fight week.
