Despite a new addition to his family recently, Conor McGregor has put his name into the hat for an exhibition fight with kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at RIZIN.
The “Notorious” posted the request on social media last night.
The comment may be seen as tongue in cheek but when it comes to Conor McGregor, you just never know.
Recently, Floyd Mayweather knocked Nasukawa inside the first round of their so called exhibition contest netting a reported $9 million in the process.
It is likely that McGregor is following in Mayweather’s footsteps and potentially chasing easy money but given that the Dubliner is contracted to the UFC for a multi fight deal, it seems unlikely that the fight will even be considered.
But isn’t that what we said about the Floyd Mayweather fight?
Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White told TMZ that he would like to make a rematch between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
