Bellator announces return to Dublin in September

It will be the second time in 2019 that Bellator will have played host to a night of fights in Dublin’s 3 Arena.

With Bellator London taking place tomorrow, European fans are hungry for more top MMA action and Irish fans won’t have too long to wait as Dave Green, head of Bellator’s European dealings confirmed at a pre-fight press conference that the promotion would indeed be returning to Irish shores in September.

The 3 Arena has seen its fair share of blockbuster fights between Conor McGregor’s homecoming and a host of BAMMA events and a hugely successful show in February headlined by James Gallagher.

Friday September 27th is the confirmed date and no confirmed bouts have been put on the table just yet but should James Gallagher overcome his opponent tomorrow, there’s a good chance he headlines the card once again.

Other rumours suggest that Dillon Danis could make an appearance on the card after a recent win in New York and the timing could potentially suit both aforementioned fighters.

Tickets for the event go on sale next Friday (28th of June) from Ticketmaster.
